Saratoga Community Library Foundation
1993-2006

Incorporated in 1993, the Saratoga Community Library Foundation's mission was "generating monies, endowment funds, grants, and other real and personal property to provide buildings, facilities, equipment, and increased access to facilities" for the Library.

The Foundation's mission was specifically crafted to complement the Friends of the Saratoga Libraries' focus on current support of the Saratoga Community Library by focusing on the future of the Saratoga Community Library.

Subsequent to the passing of the $15.5 million bond measure in 2000 and the opening of the expanded Saratoga Community Library in 2003, the Foundation board voted to release the monies under its control to the Santa Clara County Library System to fund audio visual equipment for the Community Room in the expanded Saratoga Community Library and to close down the Foundation.

The Saratoga Community Library Foundation thanks the community for its support.

We'd also like to thank our SCLF Library Patrons, who generously gave to the Foundation to support its mission.
